Infographic Redesign

The Death Penalty in the U.S.

For a design challenge in my Visual Communication class, I analyzed and redesigned an infographic about capital punishment in America, focusing on improving visual hierarchy and data clarity. The project challenged me to take complex statistical information and make it more accessible through thoughtful typography, color choices, and layout decisions.

Visual Communication

Fictional Event Promotion

Hues & Harmony Conference Program Design

For my Visual Communication class, I had to design a complete event promotion system for a fictional two-day conference at Pratt Institute. The challenge was transforming a single-page design into a multi-panel brochure that could hold session schedules, speaker information, and event details while maintaining visual consistency. Working within a structured grid system, I balanced the flowing, artistic quality of the original poster with the practical needs of organizing dense information.

Motion Design

Logo Animation

Cosmos Logo Animation

For my Motion Design 1 class, I created a logo animation that explored how movement can shape brand identity. The goal was to transform a logo into an experimental animation. I animated the Cosmos logo by experimenting with motion, timing, and sound design. Working in Adobe AfterEffects, I focused on building a smooth, fluid reveal that captured a sense of depth. This project strengthened my ability to translate visual concepts into motion and reinforced how animation can bring clarity, personality, and storytelling to a brand.
